Russian mobile app scene: who makes money and who gets downloads

Russia, despite the relatively late adoption of smartphone technology, managed to become one of the largest markets in the world in terms of mobile app usage. With the population of 143 million people and quite high mobile Internet penetration, Russia made it to top 10 countries in terms of app downloads and in-app revenues, reports App Annie.
